I am a Spanish artist resident in London with my English wife and family. I first studied art in my home town of Oviedo before moving to Seville to study mural painting and them Italy to absorb myself in the great art of the Renaissance. In 1978 I put down roots in Barcelona, studying at St. Jordi Fine Arts School and later working for solo exhibitions,group shows and private commissions including a mural for the board room of the Catalan Government. Since moving to London in 1995 I have worked almost exclusively on private portrait and mural commissions and as well as nine months as resident artist at the London offices of financial company, Cantor Fitzgerald. All my work comes through personal “word of mouth” recommendation, often with several commissions from one family.
